The products are two single-SKU heroes from a repair hair care line: a 300ml conditioner in a matte black faceted bottle with a gunmetal pump, and a 50ml treatment oil in amber-gradient glass with a tall chrome cap, both carrying champagne gold print. Each SKU needed its own vertical frame with a natural, mineral-and-botanical character for the brand's website and marketplace content. Both frames were styled and photographed at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China, and delivered under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. A black bottle that must not go dead. Matte black under soft light flattens into a featureless silhouette. The faceted bevels are what sell the bottle's architecture, so the key is placed to lay a separate graded highlight on each facet, letting the viewer count the edges instead of guessing at a black block.
2. Props with strong personalities. Lava rock, a bent wood arch and a variegated leaf all pull the eye. Each prop earns its place by framing the bottle: the conditioner crowns the arch apex, the rocks anchor the lower corners, and nothing crosses the bottle silhouette, so the staging reads as support, not competition.
3. A flower stem that leads, not pokes. In the second frame a tall statice stem arcs over the oil bottle. Left untuned, a curve like that spears the label or divides the frame. Its arc is adjusted until the eye rides the stem from the lower right and lands directly on the chrome cap, with clear air between the flowers and the gold print.
4. Gold print over amber gradient glass. The 50ml oil's champagne print sits across a translucent gradient that shifts from amber to black. Uncontrolled key light turns the gold into white glare at the top and mud at the bottom, so the source is flagged to keep the print readable along the full height of the label.
Our Approach
Mineral staging for the conditioner.
The bottle stands on the apex of a bent birch arch, flanked by two lava rocks of unequal size and a single variegated leaf entering from the top edge. An 85mm short telephoto at f/9 from near level keeps the whole label legible, and the cream paper sweep leaves the frame quiet around the staging.
Botanical counterweight for the oil.
The 50ml bottle nests into a natural notch in a sloped lava rock. Two eucalyptus rounds sit high-left and low-right as diagonal counterweights, an unopened bud fills the gap beside them, and the statice arc closes the top of the composition over the cap. Ivory linen under the rock and a mocha backdrop hold the palette warm and earthy.
Warm light, held highlights.
A large diffused key at front-left works at a warm neutral temperature, with a soft fill at front-right and a faint rear rim to lift the bottle edges from the mocha backdrop. Shadows stay soft and short, so the volcanic texture, the waxy leaves and the polished chrome each keep their own surface character.
Post-production and delivery.
Retouching kept the rock texture honest, cleaned the chrome cap and pump, and matched the champagne print to the physical bottles. Both vertical frames were delivered as 2000px long-edge sRGB JPG plus WebP.
"A single-product frame lives or dies on its props. If the buyer remembers the rock instead of the bottle, the props got too loud." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How is single-hero hair care photography priced?
Styled frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, so these 2 vertical frames cost $70 including natural prop styling and retouching. White-background versions of each SKU start at $12 per image under our Essential package. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
How fast can two hero frames ship?
This pair was delivered in 5 business days, at the fast end of our standard 5-7 business day window: days 1-2 for prop selection and staging tests, day 3 for the shoot, days 4-5 for retouching.
Do these vertical frames work for Amazon?
They are built for A+ Content, brand stores and secondary slots, delivered at 2000px on the long edge in sRGB, above Amazon's 1000px zoom minimum. The main image slot requires the product alone on pure white, which we shoot at $12 per image under the Essential package.
Can you keep natural props from overpowering the product?
Yes, with one placement rule: no prop crosses the bottle silhouette, and every element either frames the product or leads the eye to it. Textures do the talking at different volumes too: rough rock and soft foliage sit back, polished chrome and the label come forward.
Our line is one SKU per scent. Can each get its own mood?
Yes. Each SKU gets its own prop map and staging notes while the light discipline stays constant, so the conditioner reads mineral and architectural while the oil reads botanical and warm, and the two still sit side by side in one listing.
Will gold print stay readable on dark gradient glass?
Yes. The key light is flagged so it never strikes the label straight on, and its angle is tuned on test frames until the champagne print reads cleanly from the amber top of the bottle down to the black base.
