Siemens Water Filter Pitcher Product Photography

The client sells Siemens water filter pitchers and needed clean listing images, so they asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China for a packshot set. The pitcher pairs a colored upper reservoir with a clear lower jug, and the line comes in blue and white versions. We shot 3 images in our Guangzhou studio: the blue pitcher straight on, the white version with the filter cartridge visible inside, and a three-quarter angle that shows the lid and spout shape. The lower jug was filled with water for a real waterline, shot on our white sweep under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Clear plastic shows every light in the room. A transparent jug is basically a lens. Every lamp, window, and person in the studio prints onto it. We lit the set with one big soft light and hung white cards on both sides, so the jug's edges carry clean white lines and nothing else shows in the plastic.

2. Water moves. We filled the lower jug for a real waterline, but water sloshes for a while after pouring. Each frame waited for the surface to settle, and the small splash and bubbles you see were timed, not luck: pour, count, shoot.

3. White on white needs edges. The white version sits on a white background, so the body can disappear. The lid and logo area get a touch more light, and a thin gray card behind the set gives the clear plastic a faint outline. You should never notice it, but take it away and the jug is gone.

4. The logo has to stay crisp. The Siemens print on the reservoir is small, and soft focus makes a big brand look like a fake. Focus goes on the logo plane every frame, checked at 100% zoom before we move on.

Dust, scratches, and water spots on the plastic are cleaned at 200% zoom. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon main-image slots.
