Photography Challenges
1. Controlling chrome reflections. The mirror-gloss chrome handle reflected the studio, softboxes, and camera position directly. We used large softboxes positioned to the sides and black flags to shape a clean vertical highlight, so the handle reads as polished rather than busy or distorted.
2. Separating mixed metal finishes. The product combines polished chrome, rose-gold accent rings, and a brushed silver spray face. We tested light angles to keep each finish distinct, using softer diffusion for the chrome and slightly harder grazing light to reveal the brushed texture and nozzle clusters.
3. Keeping markings legible. Text such as OPEN, SUS304, BOOST, RAINFALL, and stop needed to stay readable without overpowering the product. Small lighting adjustments and flagging lifted contrast on the raised markings while preserving the white background.
4. Showing the filter medium accurately. The replacement cartridge uses a perforated white non-woven sleeve over gray speckled activated-carbon material. We lit it evenly so the holes reveal the medium inside without blowing out the white sleeve or making the gray granules look muddy.
Our Approach
High-key white-background setup.
We built a seamless white sweep and used large softboxes for even, shadowless illumination across the shower head and cartridge. A separate filtered edge light separated the chrome and rose-gold surfaces from the background without adding colored spill.
Feature-driven framing.
The set was planned around buyer questions: the first image shows the complete handheld unit, two close-ups document spray modes and the stop button, and one image presents the replacement cartridge. Angles were chosen so the threaded connector, grip pad, twist-off face, and mode ring are all clearly visible.
Retouching and Delivery.
Retouching removed dust and minor sensor spots while preserving real reflections, nozzle detail, and the texture of the filter medium. Files were prepared for Amazon image slots and A+ Content at 2000x2000px sRGB, exported as JPEG quality 90 plus WebP, and checked for clean white backgrounds and consistent exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much did four shower head packshots cost?
Four white-background packshots cost 4 × $12 = $48 total. The 10% discount applies only at 10+ SKUs and the 15% discount at 30+ SKUs, so this four-image order was billed at the standard rate.
What is the turnaround time?
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days. This set of four filtered shower head images was delivered in 5 business days.
Are the images compliant with Amazon requirements?
Yes. The main image uses a pure white background, shows only the product, and is delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB for zoom. The close-up and accessory images can be used in secondary Amazon slots and A+ Content.
How do you photograph reflective chrome without harsh reflections?
We use large softboxes to create smooth gradient highlights and black flags to define edges. The camera and lights are positioned so the chrome sees controlled white and black surfaces rather than the full studio.
Can we send products to your Guangzhou studio and direct remotely?
Yes. Products can be shipped to AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China, and art direction can be handled remotely through shot lists, reference images, and live review during the shoot.
Can we match these images when ordering more SKUs later?
Yes. We keep the lighting setup, camera settings, background, and retouching notes on file so additional shower heads or bathroom fixtures can match this set when reordered.
