The client sells soft silicone nursing accessories and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the range for online listings. The products are thin, clear, and soft: nipple shields with wide flexible flanges and bottle teats with threaded necks. We shot 9 images in our Guangzhou studio on pale blue-gray sweeps: clean solo frames, a hand pinching the shield to show softness, an in-use demonstration, and a hygiene-concept frame with the teat standing on a droplet-covered dome, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Clear and thin is nearly invisible. A transparent shield on a white sweep leaves nothing to look at. We shot on pale blue-gray and placed small hard lights to draw bright edges, so the product's outline and thickness read in every frame.
2. Softness must be shown, not claimed. 'Soft silicone' is a sentence every listing has. The pinch frame proves it: a hand deforms the flange, and the photo catches the bend. Buyers believe the dent, not the adjective.
3. Water droplets are hygiene styling. The droplet frames say 'freshly cleaned, safe material' without copy. Each bead is misted on, sized by distance from the nozzle, then shot fast before the drops slide off the silicone.
4. In-use without awkwardness. Nursing products need an in-use frame, shot with care. We cropped tight to the product area with no face and soft light, so the frame explains fit and stays clinical and clean.
Our Approach
High-Key Solo Frames
The solo frames strip everything back: one shield or teat, centered on the pale sweep, drawn by its own highlights. One stands the shield on its wavy flange, one floats it like a pebble, one gives the teat a white dome beaded with droplets. Different objects, one quiet clinical voice.
Demo Frames
Two frames put hands in: a single-hand pinch that bends the flange, and a two-hand hold with fresh droplets on the surface. Hands are the only scale reference a tiny clear product gets, and the pinch is the closest a photo comes to letting a buyer touch it.
Retouching
All 9 frames get one bright, clean finish: backgrounds evened, silicone edges kept crisp, stray dust removed at 200% zoom, and skin tones in the demo frames kept natural. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
"With clear silicone, the light does the drawing. Give the product a colored backdrop and a thin bright edge, and buyers can finally see what they are buying." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 9-image set like this cost?
This set came to about $315 at $35 per styled image, demo and droplet work included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 9 images were delivered in 5 business days. Demo frames with hands and droplets take the most takes, so we schedule them with buffer.
Can these go on Amazon?
The clean solo frames fit the secondary slots and A+ Content at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the product alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per item.
How do you show softness in a photo?
By denting it. A hand pinches the flange and we catch the bend at its deepest point. A buyer believes a visible dent more than any softness claim in the copy.
How do you photograph clear silicone so it is visible?
A pale colored backdrop plus small hard lights. The backdrop gives the material a silhouette, and the hard light draws bright edges along the outline. On pure white, clear silicone nearly disappears.
Can you shoot the rest of my feeding line in this style?
Yes. The sweep and lighting recipe stay on file, so bottles, shields, and cases shot later match this gallery: same palette, same edges, same finish. New items run at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
