The client sells convertible wooden cribs and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot its white crib with a child model for online listings. The crib has arched end panels, vertical slats, and caster wheels, and converts to a daybed. We shot 8 images on our nursery set in Guangzhou: the crib standing and in daybed form, with the toddler standing in it, sitting in it, and playing beside it, styled with a big teddy bear, a ladder shelf, and soft window light, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. A crib without a child is furniture. With a toddler holding the rail, it becomes a crib. The model frames answer the two questions parents actually ask: how big is it, and how does my child fit in it. The child standing, sitting, and playing gives scale no dimension drawing can.

2. White on white on white. A white crib in a white nursery can bleach into nothing. We kept the gray rug under the crib for footing, the brown teddy for warmth, and the window light directional, so the crib's rails and panels hold their edges against the bright room.

3. Kids do not pose. Toddlers work on their own schedule. We shot in short bursts around the child's play: standing at the rail, sitting with a toy, wandering beside the crib. The smiles in the final frames are real, because nobody asked for them.

4. The conversion must be visible. The daybed frame shows the crib with its front rail open. Parents buying convertible cribs shop for exactly this future, so the frame gets the child sitting cross-legged inside, living in the next stage.

Our Approach

Bright Nursery Set

The set is a white room corner with a big grid window, a gray shag rug, a ladder shelf with plants and books, and a large teddy bear in a red shirt. The crib sits on the rug in soft daylight, and the toddler moves through it: inside, outside, standing, sitting. Every frame keeps the crib as the anchor and the child as the life.

Configuration Frames

Two frames slow down for product truth: the crib standing alone in its full form, and the daybed configuration with the front open. These are the frames parents study before checkout, so they stay clean, front-lit, and prop-light.

Retouching

All 8 frames get one bright, warm finish: whites kept clean without blowing the crib's edges, the child's skin tones natural, and rug and wall distractions cleaned at 200% zoom. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings, brand stores, and A+ Content.

"Nursery photography is patience photography. Set the room, set the light, then let the child be a child. The best frames happen between the plans." Garbo, Senior Photographer

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an 8-image model set like this cost?

This set came to about $360 at $45 per model image, child model, styling, and set included. Clean packshots of the crib alone can be added at $35 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 8 images were delivered in 5 business days. Child sessions run in short play-based bursts across one day; the rest is selection and retouching.

Can nursery scenes go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the crib alone on pure white, which we add at $35 per configuration.

Do you provide child models?

Yes. Child casting, wardrobe, and a parent-approved play-based shoot plan are all handled in-house. Sessions stay short and fun, which is also how the smiles stay real.

Can you show the crib's convertible stages?

Yes. This set includes the daybed configuration. Full conversion series, crib, daybed, toddler bed, can be shot in one session since the set stays built.

Can you shoot more nursery pieces in this room?

Yes. The nursery set stays dressed, so dressers, changing tables, and bedding can join the same room for a matching gallery, at the standard $35 or $45 per-image rates.
