The client sells M-Castle strollers and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot an outdoor series with a model for its campaign. The red-canopy and all-black versions both appear. We shot 4 images across Guangzhou's business districts: pushing up wide stone stairs, adjusting the seat at a glass entrance, standing by an escalator, and a phone-check pause on a rooftop plaza, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Stairs are the product's home turf. Parents buy these strollers for exactly the moments cities throw at them: stairs, entrances, escalators. The shoot puts the stroller in each one, so the campaign answers 'can it handle my commute' with pictures, not promises.
2. Bright sky, dark stroller. City plazas at midday blow out behind a black stroller. We exposed for the product and let the sky go bright, then pulled the buildings back in retouching, so the stroller keeps detail and the background keeps its towers.
3. Real tasks, real expressions. The model is never just standing next to the product. She pushes, adjusts the seat, checks her phone mid-errand. Each frame is a task a parent recognizes, which is what makes the smile in it believable.
4. One wardrobe, four locations. Four spots in one afternoon means no wardrobe changes. The model's neutral gray, denim, and black outfit works against stone, glass, and sky, so the stroller stays the most designed object in every frame.
Our Approach
Commute Frames
The series follows one commute: up the wide stairs with the red canopy catching the light, a seat adjustment at the entrance mat, a pause by the escalator. Each location is chosen because a parent with a stroller actually passes through it.
The Rooftop Pause
The final frame slows down: the model checks her phone on a rooftop plaza, stroller standing beside her, towers behind. It is the 'city parent' portrait the campaign anchors on: product present, life happening.
Retouching
All 4 frames get one bright, urban grade: stroller fabrics matched to the physical units, skies recovered from the midday burn, pavement cleaned, and skin tones kept natural. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for brand stores, social ads, and A+ Content.
"Shoot the stroller where it will actually be pushed. If the buyer recognizes the staircase, the campaign has already won." — Garbo, Senior Photographer

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 4-image outdoor set like this cost?
This set came to about $180 at $45 per model image, model, styling, and locations included. Studio packshots can be added at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 4 images were delivered in 5 business days. The location route runs one afternoon; the rest is selection and retouching.
Can outdoor model photos go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, brand store, and social ads, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the stroller alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per version.
Why shoot stairs and entrances instead of pretty parks?
Because that is where strollers actually work. Parents read these locations as their own commute, and the campaign answers 'can it handle my day' with pictures.
Can you match this style for other cities?
Our standard routes use Guangzhou districts we know well. Shoots in other cities are quoted by scope, including travel, and we keep the same task-based direction style.
Can you add more locations to the series?
Yes. The route plan stays on file, so metro entrances, crosswalks, or cafes can join the series with the same model look, at the standard $45 model rate.
