Silver Trim Porcelain Tea Set Photography

The client sells porcelain tea and coffee services and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot its silver-trim floral line for online listings: the tall pot, cups and saucers, sugar bowl, and creamer. We shot 6 images in our Guangzhou studio's window set: the full service gathered on the navy runner, the sugar bowl with its lid off, a cup tipped to show the rim, and cups stacked in a pyramid beside the pot, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Silver trim must stay silver. Under warm light the platinum lines go yellow and read as gold. We kept the window light neutral and flagged the reflections, so the trim reads cool silver against the warm bamboo table, exactly like the physical set.

2. A full service, one readable frame. Pot, sugar, creamer, 6 cups, saucers: stacked randomly it becomes a china shop shelf. We build in layers with the pot tall at the back, cups forward, and the navy runner as a base line, so every piece is findable.

3. The tipped cup earns its frame. One cup lies on its side so buyers see the interior, the rim line, and the handle profile in a single image: the 3 things a product page cannot describe in words.

4. The pyramid shows the count. Six cups stacked in a pyramid answers 'how many cups?' faster than any bullet point, and it photographs as a sculpture instead of a spreadsheet.

The main frames gather the full service by the sheer-curtained window: pot tall, cups and saucers forward, branch stand behind for height. The navy runner and woven mat keep the white porcelain grounded.

Detail Frames

The details open the set: the sugar bowl with its lid resting beside, the tipped cup showing rim and interior, and the cup pyramid beside the tall pot. Craft, count, and finish each get a frame.

Retouching

All 6 frames keep the porcelain honest: whites luminous, trim cool silver, florals soft, and the window glow kept gentle. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
