ID Badge Holder Product Photography

The client sells ID badge holders and lanyards and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the line for online listings: silver and champagne-gold metal frames with sample cards inside. We shot 6 images in our Guangzhou studio on the wooden desk set: pairs leaning against a leather notebook, singles with a teacup and succulent, flat lays with lanyards attached, and the braided strap colorways, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Sample cards carry the story. An empty badge holder is a frame. We inserted printed sample cards, so buyers see exactly what the product does: hold an ID, hang it from a lanyard, look professional on a desk. The inserts are generic samples, never real credentials.

2. Metal frames need clean edges. Champagne and silver frames pick up every reflection in the room. We flagged the set so the metal carries one clean highlight line, and the clear window stays glare-free enough to read the card inside.

3. The desk is the use case. A badge holder lives on desks, around necks, at receptions. The wood table, leather notebook, and teacup place it in that world without a single office wall.

4. Two finishes in one frame. Silver and champagne photographed together let buyers compare in one image, which is faster than flipping between two listings.

Retouching

All 6 frames keep the materials honest: metal edges clean, windows clear, wood warm, and the braided texture crisp. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
