The client sells gongfu tea accessories and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the range for online listings: a glass fairness pitcher, woven rattan coaster sets, the wooden tea-tools caddy, and a bamboo scoop of dark pu'er leaves. We shot 6 images in our Guangzhou studio on the warm tea-table set: the pitcher filled with dark tea liquor on its carved stand, the coasters in their holder, the tools with a small monk figurine behind, and the scoop with its red tin, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Tea liquor is the color proof. An empty pitcher is just glass. We fill it with real brewed tea, deep ruby-amber, so buyers see exactly what the vessel does and the glass thickness reads against the dark liquid.

2. Glass needs rim light, not flood. Front light flattens clear glass into a gray smudge. We rim the pitcher from behind, so the spout, shoulder, and handle each carry a bright edge, and the golden backdrop glows through the tea.

3. Small accessories need a stage. Coasters and tea tools are palm-sized. The bamboo raft mats, the woven runner, and the little monk figurine build a tea-table world around them, so scale and mood arrive together.

4. The red tin anchors the tea frame. The scoop of dark leaves could be any tea. The red tin behind it gives the frame its color anchor and its shelf-readiness: this is a product, not a still life exercise.

Our Approach

The Pitcher Frame

The fairness pitcher stands on its carved wooden stand, filled with dark tea, golden backdrop behind. Rim light traces the glass, and the red seal on the wall reads as the mark of the kiln.

The Accessory Frames

The coasters sit in their woven holder with one leaned out to show the spiral weave. The tea-tools caddy stands on its bamboo raft with tongs, scoop, and needle rising, the monk figurine soft behind. The scoop frame fills with dark leaves against the red tin.

Retouching

All 6 frames keep the warmth honest: golds rich, glass edges bright, rattan textured, and the tea liquor deep. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

"Tea accessories sell the ceremony. Fill the pitcher, weave the texture, and let one golden backdrop carry the whole tea table." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 6-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $210 at $35 per styled image, the tea-table set and props included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 6 images were delivered in 5 business days. One tea-table set carries the session: pitcher, coasters, tools, and tea rotate through the same golden light.

Can styled scenes go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the product alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per piece.

Why fill the pitcher with real tea?

Because an empty pitcher is just glass. Dark tea liquor proves the vessel's job, shows the glass thickness, and gives the frame its ruby-amber color.

How do you light clear glass?

With rim light from behind, not flood from the front. The spout, shoulder, and handle each carry a bright edge, and the backdrop glows through the tea.

Can you add more tea ware later?

Yes. The tea-table set stays in the studio, so new pieces slot into the same ceremony, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
