The client sells chrome shower hardware and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to cover the line for marketplace listings: full columns, round rainfall heads, the exposed mixer, and hand showers. We shot 12 images in our Guangzhou studio on the white sweep: full-height columns, head faces, a complete kit laid out in a measured grid, 1 frame with the hand shower spraying live water, and a spa-style scene on wood slats, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. A meter-tall column on white. The full column spans the frame vertically. We shoot it with the camera at mid-height and a 70mm focal length, so the riser stays parallel and neither the head nor the valve leans: vertical hardware must read vertical at thumbnail size.
2. Nozzle grids are the quality signal. Buyers judge a shower head by its spray face. We light the face with a large frontal softbox, so every silicone nozzle carries a tiny shadow on the same side: the grid count and pattern read at full zoom without glare.
3. Chrome on white needs reflected structure. Bare chrome against white goes flat and edgeless. We place 2 strip softboxes as reflectors, so the tubes carry a bright band beside a dark band: the cylinder reads round because its reflections say so.
4. The knolling frame is the inventory check. Hose, rail, valve, flanges, washers: the kit frame lays every part in a grid at exact top-down, so 'complete set' is countable. Parts spacing is kept even, because uneven gaps read as missing pieces.
Our Approach
Mounted and Face Frames
The columns run full height with hand showers parked on their rails; the rainfall heads get face-on frames for the nozzle grid; the mixer gets its red-and-blue indicators forward. Each frame answers one question a buyer actually asks.
Spray and Spa Frames
The hand shower runs live water, frozen by short flash duration into readable jets; the spa frame rests the handset on wood slats with pebbles and greenery, placing the hardware where it will live.
The Knolling Frame
The full kit lies in a measured grid: rails top, hoses middle, valve and fittings bottom, washers counted. Top-down at 50mm keeps the pipes parallel and the parts honest.
Retouching
All 12 frames keep the metal honest: chrome bands continuous, whites at 245-252, nozzle faces clean, and water jets crisp. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon main-image slots.
"A shower line sells on 4 proofs: full height, nozzle grid, live spray, and the parts count. White background, disciplined light, no excuses." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 12-image set like this cost?
This set came to about $144 at $12 per white-background packshot. Styled scenes run $35 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off the whole order.
How long does the shoot take?
These 12 images were delivered in 5 business days. The white sweep stays locked; columns, heads, and the knolling grid rotate through marked positions.
Are these ready for Amazon main images?
Yes. Each product stands alone on pure white at 2000x2000px, above the 1000px zoom minimum, with nozzle grids legible at full zoom.
How do you keep chrome readable on white?
With 2 strip softboxes as reflectors: a bright band beside a dark band on every tube. The cylinder reads round because its reflections say so.
How do you photograph the spray?
With live water and a short flash duration. The jets freeze into readable lines, so the spray pattern is proven in-camera.
Can you add more models later?
Yes. The sweep and the strip recipe stay in the studio, so new fixtures match this set exactly, at the standard $12 packshot rate.
