The client sells a stainless steel citrus press with red grips and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to cover it two ways: the catalog truth and the kitchen truth. We shot 7 images in our Guangzhou studio: 2 white-background packshots showing the hinge and strainer bowl, and 5 action frames with the press mid-squeeze over steak salads and a sparkling water glass, juice caught streaming, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Mirror steel reflects the whole studio. The polished bowls mirror everything. We light with large softbox cards positioned as clean shapes, so the press carries smooth chrome gradients: the reflections prove the polish without reporting the room.
2. The juice stream is the money shot. A press is sold by what comes out of it. We shoot the squeeze continuously at high shutter speed while the hand works, catching the juice mid-stream onto the food: one frame that demonstrates function better than any spec list.
3. Red grips are the identity. The bright handles are how buyers recognize this model in search results. We keep the reds saturated and clean against white and gray sets, because the grip color is the brand until the brand name is remembered.
4. Food must stay edible-looking. Steak salad under lights wilts in 20 minutes. We prep in batches and shoot the squeeze first, so the greens stay crisp and the grill marks stay sharp in the frame that matters most.
Our Approach
The Packshots
Closed and open on white: the hinge, the ridged press face, and the perforated strainer bowl all readable. These frames carry the Amazon main-image and spec slots.
The Action Frames
The press works over a glass meal-prep box of steak salad, juice streaming mid-squeeze; then over a sparkling water glass, lemon wheel inside. Hands only, apron behind: the kitchen truth without a face to license.
Retouching
All 7 frames keep the tool honest: chrome gradients smooth, reds true, the juice stream crisp, and food fresh. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 7-image set like this cost?
This set came to about $199: 2 white packshots at $12 and 5 styled action frames at $35, food styling and the hand model included. Orders of 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 7 images were delivered in 5 business days. Packshots run first; the action frames shoot right after, while the food is still fresh.
Are the packshots ready for Amazon main images?
Yes. The press stands alone on pure white at 2000x2000px, hinge and strainer bowl readable at full zoom. The action frames fill the secondary slots and A+ Content.
How do you photograph mirror-polished steel?
With large softbox cards placed as clean shapes. The press carries smooth chrome gradients instead of a picture of the studio, so the reflections prove the polish.
How do you catch the juice stream?
By shooting the real squeeze continuously at high shutter speed. The hand works, the camera catches the juice mid-stream onto the food: function demonstrated, not described.
Can you add more kitchen tools later?
Yes. The sweep and the counter set stay in the studio, so new tools match this set exactly, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
