The client sells kids' insulated bottles whose whole personality is the lid: soft antlers, a star button, and a cartoon print per colorway. AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China shot 5 images in our Guangzhou studio on diagonal pastel sets: the four-bottle range flat-layed with an orange slice, the antler and dome-lid duos in the wood-corner set, and one bottle in a hand for scale, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. The print is the product. Kids choose the lion, the panda, the bunny; parents choose the insulation. We light the bottles flat and shadow-free so every cartoon reads at thumbnail size: in this category the character on the bottle outsells the steel inside it.

2. A range needs a family portrait, not a lineup. Four colorways shot separately look like four products. We flat-lay them on the diagonal two-tone set, two standing, two lying: the range reads as one family with a choice, not four strangers.

3. Scale is invisible without a hand. Is it 280ml or 500ml? The hand-held frame answers in one glance what spec tables say in two lines: a child-size grip on a child-size bottle.

4. Antlers are a lighting trap. The 3D antler caps cast shadows across the lid art in hard light. We use a large frontal source so the antlers stay soft-edged and the star button reads: the signature silhouette without the shadow mess.

Our Approach

The Range Flat Lays

All four colorways diagonal on peach-and-mint, then the dome-lid four on peach-and-lavender: the complete palette mapped for the swatch-shopping parent.

The Duo Frames

Antler pair and dome pair in the warm wood corner: same bottles, quieter register, for the A+ modules that need breathing room.

The Hand Frame

The mint lion bottle in a hand, tilted: scale and grip feel in one frame, the question every parent asks answered visually.

Retouching

All 5 frames keep the set honest: pastels true, prints sharp, antlers clean-edged, and whites at 245-252. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 5-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $175 at $35 per styled image, the pastel sets included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 5 images were delivered in 5 business days. Flat lays, duos, and the hand frame share one shoot day.

Can pastel-set photos go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be one bottle alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per colorway.

Why light kids' prints flat?

Because the character on the bottle outsells the steel inside it. Flat, shadow-free light keeps every cartoon readable at thumbnail size.

Why include a hand-held frame?

Scale is invisible in product-only shots. A child-size grip on the bottle answers 'how big is it' in one glance.

Can you add more prints later?

Yes. The pastel sets and flat-light template stay on file, so new colorways drop into the family, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
