HANGROO's food jar keeps lunch hot for 6 hours, but nobody buys insulation: they buy the congee. AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China shot 4 images in our Guangzhou studio on the warm wood set: the black-milk-red trio beside a real bowl of congee, the open jar on a plinth with its folding-spoon lid, the flat lay with stewed fruit, and two hands pouring porridge into a bowl, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Insulation is invisible; steam-adjacent warmth is not. Nobody can photograph '6 hours hot'. We put real congee next to the jar and pour it on camera: the food's warmth transfers to the product by association, which is the only way insulation ever sold.

2. The spoon lid is the commute feature. The folding spoon stored in the lid means no forgotten cutlery. We shoot the lid detached with the spoon unfolded beside the open jar: the office-lunch argument in one frame.

3. Matte bodies and rose gold need separate light. The matte jar eats light; the rose-gold handle throws it back. We balance a soft frontal key with a small specular source for the handles: premium metal on quiet matte, each reading its own material truth.

4. The pour proves the mouth width. Wide-mouth claims are dimensional, but the pour is visual: porridge flowing in a thick ribbon from jar to bowl proves the opening without a tape measure.

Our Approach

The Trio Frame

Black, milk, and red jars in a triangle behind the congee bowl and gold spoon: the range portrait with the use case steaming beside it.

The Parts Frame

The open jar raised on a plinth, lid off, folding spoon displayed: the stainless interior and the commute feature in one architectural composition.

The Flat Lay Frame

Top-down with stewed fruit, orange slice, and the red jar's spoon lid: the meal-prep lifestyle register for A+ modules.

Retouching

All 4 frames keep the set honest: matte true black and milk, rose gold warm, food natural, and whites at 245-252. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.

"A food jar sells warmth: real congee beside it, the spoon lid beside that, and one pour to prove the mouth." June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a 4-image set like this cost?

This set came to about $140 at $35 per styled image, the food styling included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.

How long does the shoot take?

These 4 images were delivered in 5 business days. Food frames shoot first while the congee is fresh; product frames follow.

Can food-scene photos go on Amazon?

Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the jar alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per colorway.

Why photograph real food with the jar?

Because insulation is invisible. Real congee beside the jar and the pour on camera transfer the food's warmth to the product: the only way '6 hours hot' ever sold.

Why show the folding-spoon lid?

It is the commute feature: no forgotten cutlery. The detached lid with the spoon unfolded makes the office-lunch argument in one frame.

Can you add more colorways later?

Yes. The wood set and lighting template stay on file, so new jars match this set, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
