The client sells men's metal jewelry: polished silver-tone rings, bracelets and necklaces aimed at casual masculine styling. Product-only shots read cold and scale-less, so the brief called for an on-model session with styled casual apparel. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Men's jewelry dies on over-styled sets. Masculine pieces need restraint: too much styling turns costume. Apparel is limited to cotton, leather and denim in muted tones, so the metal stays the signal.
2. Silver-tone on gray can vanish. Polished steel against a gray studio needs edge logic. A harder key with a defined shadow side gives the metal shape against the plain gray.
3. Male hands need direction. Untrained hands read awkward in jewelry frames. The model's hands are given functional poses, adjusting a cuff or holding a strap, so the jewelry sits in credible use.
Our Approach
Ring and hand frames.
Opening frames put the rings on working hand postures against the gray backdrop.
Bracelet and wardrobe coordination.
Middle frames integrate bracelets with the denim and leather styling, metal catching the hard key.
Necklace and texture finishes.
Closing frames cover the necklaces at the collar and finish with metal texture macros.
"Men's jewelry photography is posture work: credible hands, muted wardrobe, and light that gives the metal an edge." — Garbo, Director of Photography

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a men's on-model session priced?
On-model frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, with styling and retouching included and model fees quoted separately. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.
How long does the session take?
This session was delivered inside our standard 5-7 business day window: styling plan and fitting first, then coverage, then retouching.
Can you style to our brand's masculine lookbook?
Yes. Wardrobe and posture direction are locked to your brand guide before the session.
Can you add product-only frames of the same pieces?
Yes. Product-only coverage grades to the same master, so model and still frames match in the catalog.
