The product is a men's casual staple: matte frosted obsidian round beads on a stretch cord with one ornate silver-tone accent bead per bracelet, in two size variants. The brief called for dark, textured still lifes. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges

1. Matte black beads flatten into a silhouette. Frosted beads on a dark set lose every edge. A low raking key grazes the bead surfaces so the matte texture catches a soft sheen and each sphere separates.

2. The silver accent hijacks exposure. One bright metal bead among black ones pulls the meter. Exposure is set for the metal accent and the beads are brought up with fill, keeping both honest.

3. Two sizes must compare honestly. Size variants shot separately invite drift. Both bracelets are shot in shared frames at identical geometry, so the size difference is self-evident.

Our Approach

Texture hero frames.

Opening frames lay the bracelet on the dark set under the raking key, accent bead at the composition anchor.

Variant comparison frames.

Middle frames place both sizes together at matched geometry for direct comparison.

Accent and texture macros.

Closing frames isolate the ornate silver bead and the frosted bead surface with the 100mm macro.

"Black-on-black photography is patience with a rake light. Texture first, drama second." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a bracelet set like this priced?

Styled creative frames start at $35 per image under our Growth package, with set building and retouching included. All rates are starting prices, and the final quote depends on your requirements.

How long does the session take?

This set was delivered inside our standard 5-7 business day window: surface and light tests first, then coverage, then retouching.

Can you keep matte black beads textured, not flat?

Yes. Raking light restores bead-surface texture and edge separation, and files ship at 2000x2000px sRGB.

Can you cover our other bead materials the same way?

Yes. The dark raking recipe adapts per material, from frosted stone to polished onyx.
