Wedding Stationery Product Photography

The client sells wedding stationery and favor packaging to event and party buyers and commissioned AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to photograph the line for its e-commerce listings. The range covers butterfly-closure favor boxes in red and mint, tent-style table number cards, and ribbon-tied invitation cards with gold script. We delivered 7 styled images from our Guangzhou studio, staged on a warm tabletop set with gold-foil chocolates, artificial roses, and shelf-styled props, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Gold script dies in warm light. The favor boxes carry gold foil lettering on a warm amber set, and gold on gold disappears. The lighting keeps a cooler key on the product plane inside the warm scene, so the script flashes metallic against the bokeh instead of blending into it.

2. A 9cm box in a bokeh scene. Favor boxes are small, and a romantic set full of chocolates and roses eats them. Composition keeps the box on the cleanest patch of tabletop with props arranged behind and beside, never overlapping the silhouette, so the product reads at thumbnail size.

3. The butterfly closure is the product. Every box sells on its die-cut butterfly top, but flat lighting presses it into the lid. A low raking light lifts the wing shadows so the 3D closure reads, and the wings are hand-raised to the same angle on every take.

4. Paper white under tungsten warmth. The white card panels yellow fast under warm ambient light. White balance locks at 4500K as a compromise: the scene keeps its golden mood while the cardstock stays bridal white, and the grade finishes the split in post.

Romantic Tabletop Scenes

The set builds a dessert-table world: gold-foil chocolates in fluted cups, artificial roses, and softly blurred bottles and gift boxes behind. Each frame places one product on the cream tabletop with the props arranged as a warm halo, shot wide at 50mm for the pair scenes and tight at 100mm for the single-box close-ups, so the gallery moves from context to detail the way a buyer scrolls.

Stationery Range Frames

The table number and invitation cards stand freestanding on the white shelf set with books, a miniature bicycle, and a vase as soft background props. The cards are shot straight-on at 70mm so the numerals, ribbon bands, and rose line art stay square and legible, because stationery buyers judge print quality from the photo.

Post-Production and Retouching

All 7 frames grade to one warm romantic master: 4500K white balance, cardstock whites recovered to neutral, gold script enhanced with a targeted luminosity lift, and +6 saturation on the florals only. Dust on the satin ribbon is cleaned at 200% zoom. Files were delivered at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon image slots and A+ Content.
