The client markets Care infant formula in several package designs and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the range for its online listings. The tins run from stage 1 to stage 3 plus a maternal variant, across green-heart, farm-doodle, and gold-label design families. We shot 7 images in our Guangzhou studio on white sweeps: single-tin heroes per design and one trio arrangement, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Illustrated labels need flat light. These tins carry detailed artwork: cows, windmills, mother-and-baby illustrations. Directional light throws the ribs' shadows across the art. We lit flat and even from the front, so every printed detail reads without interference.
2. Three design families, one brand. Green hearts, doodle farms, and gold pastoral labels look like distant cousins. We kept one sweep, one camera height, and one light recipe across all 7 frames, so the photography ties the range together even where the designs differ.
3. Metallic lids glare. Gold and blue lids are mirror-finished plastic. One small hard accent aimed only at the lid gives it a clean glow, while the soft key keeps the paper-white bodies from blowing out.
4. The trio must read as a set. The 3-tin frame arranges tall center, flanks behind, labels forward. Each tin was leveled against the tethered screen, because in a group shot one leaning can makes the whole range look sloppy.
Our Approach
Single-Tin Heroes
Each design gets its own front-on portrait: the doodle-farm stage 2, the blue-lidded maternal variant, the gold farm stage 1, the mother-and-baby stage 3. Straight-on framing keeps the label artwork and the stage badges readable at thumbnail size.
The Trio Frame
The green-heart design gets a 3-tin arrangement: one tall hero forward, two flanks tucked behind, reflections mirroring on the gloss floor. It is the frame that says 'range' for brand stores and distributor decks.
Retouching
All 7 frames go to pure white with packaging colors matched to the physical tins: greens fresh, golds warm, illustrations crisp. Dents and scuffs on the metal are cleaned at 200% zoom. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon main-image slots and brand stores.
"Formula tins are trust objects. Clean white, true colors, readable badges: the photo has to feel as careful as what is inside the can." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 7-image packshot set like this cost?
This set came to about $84 at $12 per white-background image. Styled scenes with props can be added at $35 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How fast can you deliver?
These 7 were delivered in 3 business days. Once the light recipe is locked, tins rotate through the sweep quickly: polish, level, shoot, next.
Are these ready for Amazon main images?
Yes. Product alone on pure white, no props, no overlays, at 2000x2000px, above the zoom minimum. This set was built exactly for main-image slots.
How do you keep illustrated labels readable?
Flat, even front light. Directional light throws the can ribs' shadows across the artwork; flat light keeps every cow, badge, and stage number readable at thumbnail size.
Can you photograph multiple design families together?
Yes. We keep one setup for the whole session, so different label designs still sit in the gallery as one range. The trio frame in this set shows the approach.
Can you add new stages or designs later?
Yes. The setup notes stay on file, so new tins match this gallery exactly: same height, same light, same reflections. New SKUs run at the standard $12 packshot rate.
