The client sells M-Castle strollers in several colorways and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the range outdoors for its campaign. The strollers run from red and yellow canopies to black, white, and patterned liners. We shot 9 images across Guangzhou's retail districts: solo heroes for the red and yellow versions, plus duo and trio lineups that put the colorways side by side on the plaza, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. A range photo must compare fairly. When 3 strollers stand side by side, every difference in height or angle reads as a product difference. We leveled each unit and shot from one locked position, so shoppers compare canopy colors, not camera angles.
2. Midday plaza light is brutal. Direct sun burns white canopies and buries black ones. We shot with the sun high behind the buildings where possible, and recovered both ends in retouching, so white fabric keeps texture and black fabric keeps detail.
3. The city must not win. Malls are full of signage pulling attention. We kept the strollers large in frame and the backgrounds softly blurred, so the city reads as context, not competition.
4. Nine frames, one story. Singles show character, lineups show choice. The set alternates between the two, so the campaign page can argue both: each colorway has personality, and the range has depth.
Our Approach
Colorway Lineups
The trio and duo frames line the strollers up on the plaza like a showroom row: patterned liners, black, white, side by side. These are the frames a range page leads with, because they answer 'which one is mine' in one glance.
Solo Heroes
The red-canopy stroller gets a low three-quarter against the curved glass facade; the yellow version works the mall entrance, the metro sign corner, and a cafe patio in side profile. Each hero keeps one colorway alone with the city, so its personality lands.
Retouching
All 9 frames get one bright, urban grade: canopy colors matched to the physical strollers, skies and signage kept soft, pavement cleaned, and shadows under each unit kept so the strollers sit on the ground, not float. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for brand stores, social ads, and A+ Content.
"A range shoot is an argument for choice. Line the colorways up fairly, give each one its own hero frame, and let the buyer pick a favorite." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 9-image outdoor set like this cost?
This set came to about $315 at $35 per image, locations included. Model frames with parents can be added at $45 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 9 images were delivered in 5 business days. Moving 3 strollers through a plaza route takes one long afternoon; the rest is selection and retouching.
Can outdoor range photos go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, brand store, and social ads, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the stroller alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per colorway.
Why shoot colorways in lineups?
Because range pages live on comparison. A side-by-side frame answers 'which color is mine' faster than nine separate photos, and it proves the range has depth.
How do you keep white and black canopies both readable in sun?
Position the units so the sun works from behind or high, then recover both ends in retouching: white fabric keeps its texture, black fabric keeps its detail.
Can you add new colorways to the lineup later?
Yes. The plaza spots and camera positions stay on file, so new colorways can be shot to match and placed into the lineup frames, at the standard $35 scene rate.
