The client sells striped cotton towels in pink, cream, and blue and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the line for online listings. We shot 7 images in our Guangzhou studio's bright bathroom set: folded stacks on rattan, towels draped to show softness, 3 colorways hung from flower hooks, macro swirls of the terry loops, and the drawstring packaging bag, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. Softness must be visible. A folded towel is a brick. We drape one over the stack so it cascades, hang colorways from hooks so they fall into points, and twist one into a spiral rose for the macro: three ways to make fabric look soft in a still photo.
2. White towels, white room. Pastel towels against sheer curtains risk disappearing. The rattan mat, the faux-fur surface, and the flower hooks add warm anchors, so the whites stay white and the frame keeps its bones.
3. The stripe is the SKU. The rainbow stripe band is how buyers tell this towel from a plain one. Every frame keeps a stripe edge in view, and the macros make the weave and the hem the hero.
4. Packaging is part of the product. The drawstring bag is what arrives at the door. The flat lay shows it milky-translucent with the folded towel inside, because 'nice packaging' is a review keyword this product earns.
Our Approach
Bathroom Scenes
The scene frames build the bright bathroom: stacks on rattan with a succulent, one towel always draped or cascading to show drape, and the 3 colorways hung from pink and blue flower hooks so buyers see the range in one frame.
Texture Macros and Packaging
The macros go close: the terry twisted into a rose spiral, the striped hem with a curled corner, loop by loop. The packaging flat lay closes the set: the frosted drawstring bag with the towel visible inside.
Retouching
All 7 frames keep the freshness honest: whites bright without blowing, pastels true, terry texture crisp, and the window glow kept soft. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
"Towels sell softness and cleanliness. Drape it, hang it, or swirl it: a still photo must move, or the fabric reads as cardboard." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 7-image set like this cost?
This set came to about $245 at $35 per styled image, the bathroom set and props included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 7 images were delivered in 5 business days. One bright set carries the whole session: stacks, drapes, hooks, and macros are all variations on the same corner.
Can styled scenes go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the towel alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per colorway.
How do you photograph softness?
By making the fabric move in a still frame: drape it so it cascades, hang it so it falls into points, twist it into a spiral for the macro. A folded towel alone reads as a brick.
Why shoot the packaging?
Because the drawstring bag is what arrives at the door, and 'nice packaging' is a review keyword. One flat lay of the bag with the towel inside earns that comment.
Can you add more colorways later?
Yes. The bathroom set stays in the studio, so new colors slot into the same stacks, hooks, and macros, at the standard $12 or $35 per-image rates.
