The client sells LED vanity mirrors and desk lamps and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China to shoot the line with a model for online listings. We shot 9 images in our Guangzhou studio across 2 sets: the dressing-table scenes with the model applying lipstick in the lighted mirror, and the reading-corner scenes with the LED lamp sharp in front and the model reading soft behind, all under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges
1. The mirror shot is a two-face problem. The model's back is to camera and her face lives in the mirror. We focus for the reflection, not the room: her reflected face is the sharpest thing in the frame, because that is where the product proves itself.
2. The lamp must glow, not glare. LED heads blow to white slabs under room exposure. We balance ambient and lamp output so the panel reads as warm light with a visible shape, and the room stays warm around it.
3. Foreground product, background life. In the reading frames the lamp is razor sharp and the model is soft behind it: the product gets the focus, the human gives the context. That order is deliberate and non-negotiable.
4. Touch controls need a finger. The control icons on the base mean nothing in a spec sheet. We photograph the model's fingertip on the base, so buyers see how it turns on before they read how it turns on.
Our Approach
Vanity Scenes
The dressing-table frames put the model at the wooden vanity with the LED mirror: applying lipstick in the reflection, smiling into the glass, touching the controls. Cosmetics, a watch, and a laptop dress the table into a real morning.
Reading Scenes
The lamp frames flip the depth: the LED lamp crisp on the white table in front, the model reading a magazine soft on the sofa behind. The product owns the focus; the life stays in the frame.
Retouching
All 9 frames keep the light honest: LED glows warm with shape, skin natural, whites clean, and the depth falloff smooth. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
"Lighted products are sold on the light: the mirror must flatter a face, the lamp must warm a page, and the product keeps the focus either way." — Garbo, Model & Lifestyle Photographer

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 9-image set like this cost?
This set came to about $405 at $45 per styled image with a model, both sets included. Plain white-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off.
How long does the shoot take?
These 9 images were delivered in 5 business days. Two sets with one model run efficiently: the vanity and the reading corner are built side by side.
Can model scenes go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main images must be the product alone on pure white, which we add at $12 per model.
Why is the model blurred in the lamp frames?
Because the lamp is the product. Sharp lamp in front, soft reader behind: the product owns the focus, and the human supplies the context without stealing it.
How do you photograph a mirror in use?
We focus for the reflection, not the room. The model's face lives in the glass, so that is where the sharpness goes: the reflection is the proof the mirror works.
Can you add more lighted products later?
Yes. Both sets stay in the studio, so new mirrors and lamps slot into the same scenes, at the standard $12, $35, or $45 per-image rates.
