Cutaway Acoustic Guitar Photography

The client sells acoustic guitars and asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China for the marketplace hero of its natural cutaway model. We shot it in our Guangzhou studio on the white sweep: the guitar upright and full length, spruce top warm, rosette and pickguard crisp, under a full commercial license.

Photography Challenges

1. Full length, full detail. A guitar hero must carry headstock to bottom bout at listing size. We frame tight enough that the tuners, rosette, and bridge all survive the thumbnail, because buyers zoom before they buy.

2. Light wood on white. A blonde spruce top nearly matches the sweep. We flag a soft edge gradient down both sides, so the body silhouette reads clearly without a fake outline.

3. The cutaway is the headline. The cutaway horn is why this model exists. We keep the three-quarter hint subtle but certain: the silhouette shows the horn, and the hero tells the model apart from a standard body.
