PAPATYA, a natural latex bedding brand, asked AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China for the campaign that proves latex's two claims: it is soft, and it springs back. We shot 21 images in our Guangzhou studio on the bright bedroom set: the model hugging the contoured pillows, bending them into full arches over her head, resting her cheek on the perforated surface, with the PAPATYA mattress as the stage, all under a full commercial license. Garbo directed the model through the pose ladder.

Photography Challenges
1. Softness cannot be lit; it must be performed. A pillow photographed alone is a white object. Softness reads through the body: cheek pressed in, arms wrapped, the pillow bending into a full arch. We direct poses that deform the foam visibly, because the dent under her cheek is the product demo.
2. The bend frame is the resilience certificate. Latex's claim is bending without damage and returning to shape. The model folds the pillow into a halo over her head: the extreme arc is the one frame that proves 'high resilience' without a lab report.
3. Perforations are the breathability claim. The pinhole grid is why latex sleeps cool. We keep the pillow bare (no pillowcase) and light it from the window side at a low rake, so every hole reads: the ventilation system visible at full zoom.
4. White on white needs the model as contrast. White pillow, white mattress, white wall: the product only separates through skin, hair, and the pink gown. We style the palette so the model is the color, and the latex stays the bright clean field around her.
Our Approach
The Hug Frames
Arms wrapped, cheek down, eyes closed: the emotional register of the campaign. These frames sell comfort, and they anchor the A+ Content hero slots.
The Bend Frames
The pillow folded into a full arch over the model's head, held by both ends: resilience demonstrated at maximum deformation, playful enough to stop a scroll.
The Texture Frames
The massage-nub and contoured variants bare and close: egg-crate nodes and pinhole perforations under raked window light, so the surface engineering reads at full zoom.
Retouching
All 21 frames keep the bedroom honest: latex at warm ivory, skin natural, embroidery legible, and whites at 245-252. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
"Latex sells on 2 performances: the dent under a cheek for softness, and the full bend for resilience. Both need a model, not a light." — Garbo, Lifestyle & Model Photography Lead

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a 21-image model set like this cost?
This set came to about $945 at $45 per image with the model. White-background shots for main listing slots start at $12 each, and 10 or more items get 10% off the whole order.
How long does the shoot take?
These 21 images were delivered in 6 business days. The pose ladder (hug, bend, rest, play) runs in one model session on the same bedroom set.
Can model photos go on Amazon?
Yes, in the secondary slots, A+ Content, and your brand store, delivered at 2000x2000px. Main listing images must be the pillow alone on pure white, which we add at $12 each.
Why photograph the pillow being bent?
Because latex's core claim is bending without damage and springing back. The full arch over the model's head proves high resilience better than any spec sheet.
Why shoot the pillow without a pillowcase?
The pinhole perforation grid is the breathability claim. We light it with a low rake from the window side, so every hole reads at full zoom: the ventilation system made visible.
Can you add more bedding products later?
Yes. The bedroom set and the pose ladder stay on file, so new pillows or toppers match this campaign, at the standard $12, $35, or $45 per-image rates.
