Baby Carrier Model Photography

The client's summer carrier sells one promise: airflow. AIMI Visual Media in Guangzhou, China shot 5 images in our Guangzhou studio with an adult model and a real infant on seamless white: the front carry with the baby facing camera, the outward-facing curious pose, the hooded side view, and the back carry with the infant peeking over mom's shoulder. Garbo directed the models. Note: this case's image folder also holds 6 tableware frames from another shoot; they are not part of this carrier set and are not shown in this gallery.

Photography Challenges

1. Mesh is the promise; make it readable. 'Breathable' is a fabric claim buyers cannot feel online. We light the carrier raked and tight, so the mesh's open structure reads as visible texture: airflow you can see at full zoom.

2. A baby is not a prop that poses. The infant sets the schedule: feeds, naps, moods. We rig the light and the model's marks first, then shoot in the baby's good windows: 20 minutes of cooperation, planned down to the minute.

3. Every carry mode is a different buyer. Front for newborns, outward for curious 6-month-olds, back for toddlers. We photograph all three with the same model and carrier: one gallery that follows the child growing.

4. Skin and mesh need different light. Soft flat light flatters skin but flattens mesh. We key the models soft and add a raking strip for the carrier panel: faces gentle, fabric honest, in the same frame.

All 5 frames keep the moment honest: skin natural, mesh texture intact, whites at 245-252, and no plastic smoothing on either model. Files went out at 2000x2000px sRGB in JPEG (quality 90) and WebP, ready for Amazon listings and A+ Content.
