The client sells men's chronographs that live between dress and sport: steel bracelets and embossed leather straps across several dial variants. The brief called for desk-world flat lays that place the watch in its owner's daily context. All frames were shot at the AIMI Visual Media studio in Guangzhou, China.

Photography Challenges
1. Desk props compete with the dial. Pens, notebooks and glasses all carry visual weight. Props are limited to two per frame and kept in the soft-focus zone, so the watch stays the sharpest object.
2. Flat lays flatten the watch. Top-down desk shots kill case depth. The camera drops to roughly 45 degrees and the watch sits on a low riser, restoring case profile while keeping the desk context.
3. Variants must not look like re-shoots. Multiple dial and strap variants share one desk world. Props and light stay fixed while the watch rotates, so the series reads as one morning, not five sessions.
Our Approach
Hero flat lays.
Opening frames set the lead variant in the desk world with matched prop placement.
Variant rotation.
Middle frames cycle the dial and strap variants through the same composition.
On-wrist and macro finishes.
Closing frames add the wrist context and dial, crown and strap macros.
"A desk flat lay works when it looks like the owner just left. Two props, one story, watch first." — June, Product Photography Team Lead

How long does the session take?
This set was delivered inside our standard 5-7 business day window: desk world build first, then variant coverage, then retouching.
